Are there any tests I will need to take?

No. The Minor in Possession Class does not require tests. You will have the option to complete an optional no-fail knowledge assessment at the end.

You are required to spend a minimum of 4 to 52 hours reviewing the material depending on which option you select. Common durations are 4, 8, 12, 16, 26, 36, and 52 hours. You do not need to accrue that time in one sitting.

What is the difference between an MIP class and a DUI class?

An MIP (Minor in Possession) class focuses on the risks and legal consequences of underage possession and consumption of alcohol or controlled substances. A DUI class is specifically for individuals charged with driving under the influence. While there is some overlap in content, MIP classes are tailored to younger individuals and emphasize prevention, decision-making, and legal awareness specific to minors.

Will an MIP stay on my record?

MIP laws vary by state. In many states, a first-offense MIP can be expunged or sealed after completing required education and probation. Completing our MIP class demonstrates compliance and may support a petition for record expungement. We recommend consulting with your attorney about your state's specific expungement eligibility.

Can a parent or guardian enroll someone in the MIP class?

Yes. Parents, guardians, or attorneys frequently enroll minors in our program. The enrollment verification letter and certificate will be issued in the student's name. The course content is age-appropriate and designed for young adults.

When will I receive my certificate of completion?

Certificates are instantly available for download the moment you complete the class. We will also immediately email a copy.
